Easigest
Arguably one of the most important aspects of good health depends
upon the effectiveness of the digestive system. Unfortunately in
the case of many thousands of individuals precious nutrients never
become available to the cells, as the digestion is so impaired.
Easigest was formulated with two major digestive problems in mind;
to help alleviate the pain and discomfort of indigestion and to
assist the function of enzyme production.
Dandelion
Dandelion's principle function is to care for the liver, by stimulating
bile production. It also improves the function of the pancreas,
spleen, stomach and bowel. Like many herbs, Dandelion's action is
further enhanced when combined with other herbs.
Ginger
Ginger is excellent for relieving stomach upsets, wind and stomach
pain.
Barberry
Barberry is reputed as a natural aid for heartburn, stomach upset
and ulcers.
Meadowsweet
Meadowsweet is a tonic for the digestive tract.
Gentian
Gentian is most noted for its ability to stimulate enzymes and
tone up stomach linings.
Liquorice
Liquorice has a very soothing effect on the digestive system and
is known for healing stomach ulcers by spreading a protective gel
over the stomach wall. Also eases intestinal spasms.
Slippery Elm Powder
Slippery Elm Powder, with its mucilaginous (protective gel) nature,
is particularly helpful in cases of indigestion and inflammation
of the stomach and bowel. Even sensitive stomachs fmd it tolerable
and soothing.
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint Oil is one of the best herbs to stimulate bile and digestive
secretions and its action is helpful in conditions of heartburn,
nausea, flatulence and colic.
Papaya
Papaya (Paw Paw) is added for its super enzymatic qualities. For
people who do not produce enough stomach acid, Papain, a derivative
of Papaya can help.
Pineapple
Pineapple also yields a protein digesting enzyme, Bromelain, which
assists the digestive system.
